EXPLORE ♦ ENGAGE ♦ TRANSFORM ACTIVE CINEMA: A CREATIVE SOCIAL ACTION NETWORK
MVFF’s Active Cinema films are both documentary and fiction, national and international, united in their commitment to explore the world and its issues; to engage audiences; and to transform society. We hope that the passion and fearlessness of these filmmakers will encourage audience members to contribute their talents and abilities daily in an effort to create social change. After the lights come up and the credits roll, the images ingrained in us can still have an impact. Active Cinema invites you to be the change you want to see in the world.
